SAN CARLOS CITY – Alaminos City Mayor Arthur F. Celeste, a gubernatorial hopeful, continues to inspire people during his visits to barangays.

Celeste has been going around barangays in Pangasinan to introduce himself as a gubernatorial candidate.

In his sortie in this city recently, he talked with the people about his platforms and advocacies,  reminding them that each Pangasinense is a partner for change and part of the inclusivity of “Pangasinan Para Sa Lahat” (Pangasinan For All).

Amid cheers and applauses from the crowd, Celeste expressed his desire to be that conveyor of change in Pangasinan where he said he could replicate what he has done in Alaminos City and District I.

“Hindi ko sinasabi na ako po ay magaling. Lalong hindi ko rin po sinasabi na ako ay mahina. Iisa lang po ang hamon ko sa inyo. Subukan po ninyo ako! Hindi ko po kailangan ng labing dalawang taon. Ang kailangan ko lang po ay tatlong taon. Doon ninyo po ako huhusgahan kung mahina or magaling ako,” Celeste said.

(I am not saying that I am the best. And I am not saying too that I am weak. This is my challenge to all of you. Try me. I don’t need twelve years. What I need is only three years. You could then judge me if I could give my best or I am weak.)

Celeste also said that three years are long enough for people to know  that a leader is sincere and honest in giving the needed services to the people.

“ Ang sa ganang akin, sa loob ng tatlong taon, kung hindi ko po maipakita ang pagbabagong aming ipinagsisigawan, palitan ninyo ako. Walang samaan ng loob,” he said.

(On my part, in three years time that I could not show the change that we are telling you, then change me. No hurt feelings.)

He also urged the village folk to support also his team mate vice gubernatorial aspirant Mark Lambino and all other candidates under the Celeste-Lambino Team.

“ Mark (Lambino) and I should go together to the Capitol. The Governor and Vice Governor must be supportive of each other to implement development changes in the province,” he said.
