HIGHEST RATING AFTER ONE YEAR NI MAYOR RODY. Ang ibang sinundan niyang president ay bumaba ang popularity ratings after one year in service.

Pero si Mayor Rody…tumaas pa!

PRESIDENT Rodrigo R. Duterte (PRRD) marked his first year in office with a fresh personal record-high net satisfaction rating in the Social Weather Stations’ (SWS) latest survey that, Malacañang and an analyst said, showed public support for martial law which he declared over all of Mindanao. – BUSINESSWORLD

PEACE PROCESS PATULOY. Bok Nani Braganza, malapit na ang August. Hahaha. Masalimuot nga ba ang pagiging head ng usapan sa CASER as in Comprehensive Agreement on Social and Economic Reforms.

“I have to talk to the communists but this time I hope you do it in a modality that is sincere,” sabi ni Mayor Rody nitong 64th founding anniversary ng bayan ng Hagonoy sa Davao del Sur.

“We are all Filipinos…you know every time I see a dead soldier or a dead NPA, I feel sorry because we’re Filipinos and we are fighting an issue as a matter of principle,”

“You do not just withdraw because we cannot agree on a certain agenda in the — You sulk and then disappear, and then come back wanting to talk. Hindi ko naiintindihan. Ang raming problema,” sabi ni Mayor Rody.

Twelve months peace talks. Bok Nani, remember mo pa ba nang sinabi mo sa isang interview noong June last na“We are only given 12 months to finish the job,” ?

“We, in the peace panel under the Duterte administration are veterans of peace talks and what we need is to continue what we have finish[ed] to end the 47 years of insurgency in the country,” dagdag ni Bok Nani.

At least gumugulong pa ang usapan. Fifth round of talks na.

“We need to promote a culture of innovation to encourage creative thinking and knowledge creation and dissemination towards expanding and maintaining economic competitiveness. But in order to create an innovation ecosystem, we need to invest in higher education,” sabi ni Senadora Loren.

“It also means we underinvest in scientific research, and are not willing to embrace needed reforms that could bolster our innovation potential. Being a mere follower is simply unacceptable, especially that the Filipino talent has contributed a number of game changing solutions to the world,” sabi ni Senadora Loren.

“We aim to institutionalize this through the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Bill, already approved by the Senate,” sabi ni Senadora Loren.

Hindi natin kailangan ng maraming state colleges and universities.

Kahit kaunti lang ang state college and universities ay puedeng makapag-produce ng mas maraming scientific researchers.
