Team Energy Foundation donates solar lights to ‘paraw’ operators

ALAMINOS CITY- The newly organized Hundred Islands Paraw Operators Association (HIPOA) received 50 units solar lighting systems from Team Energy Foundation, Inc. (TEFI) on June 1.
The turn over ceremony held at the Tourism Function Hall at the Lucap Wharf was led by TEFI Executive Director Roderick F. De Castro and Program Manager Dianne Maningding. City Administrator Emielou E. Gellado represented Mayor Arthur F. Celeste
TEFI is the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Team Energy Corporation  with the mission to become an active partner in the countrys growth and development.
The foundation is  also committed to provide significant impact in uplifting lives through relevant and sustainable programs on electrification, education, and environmental stewardship.
During the turn over ceremonies, De Castro said Team Energy Foundation is more than happy to extend assistance to the city and the paraw operators.

” We will always be here to support local government units and communities in addressing the country’s energy needs towards promoting sustainable economic growth and development,” De Castro said.
City Administrator Gellado extended the city’s gratitude to TEFI for the assistance provided to the paraw operators.
“Value the assistance given to you by our city and its partner agencies and institutions. This will  benefit you and your family,Gellado said.
HIPOA President Renante Raniaga promised that their group will maximize the use and maintain their solar lights.
Recall that the paraw units were donated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and beautiful sails by Pioneer Epoxy.
