SM Rosales joins Brigada Eskwela 2017

 ROSALES- As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR),  SM City Rosales, through its employees and volunteers, joined the teachers, pupils and parents of Li Seng Giap Elementary School during  the Brigada Eskwela 2017 last May 20 here.

 Armed with tubs of paints and brushes, they cleaned and repainted the school’s furnishings so they would  look more beautiful before the classes start on June 5.

 ” The bayanihan spirit exhibited by the employees and volunteers of SM City Rosales is vey contagious, that’s why we are here to work with them. We parents are always be grateful to them,” Norie Bautista-Rayray said, one of the mothers of a pupil of the school.

 The Brigada Eswela was even more fruitful when the pupils whose families are under the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) or cash conditional transfer, received school supplies from SM.

 School Prinicipal Jessenelle C . Dion, expressed her gratitude in behalf of the pupils and their parents.

“Most of our pupils belong to the low-income families.The school supplies they received will be very helpfulto their studies.The repainting of tables and chairs will be beneficial to the school operations.Nagpapasalamat po k ami sa maagang pamasko ng SM,” Dion said.

SM City Rosales’ participation to the Brigada Eskwela 2017 was spearheaded by its Human Resource Department in collaboration with SM Cares and the Department of Education (DepEd).

Brigada Eskwela is one of the frontline initiatives of DepEd, which is conducted in the public schools nationwide.

The said  activity aims to bring together teachers, pupils and students, parents and community members in preparing the school for the incoming school openings.
