CORTEZ: That thing called tadhana ni PDuterte

 brando-maso
“Maybe it is a matter of destiny. Maybe God placed you there to precisely do the things that must be done to help the Philippines,” sabi ni President Rodrigo Duterte.

No More Aid  From You.

“If you think it is high time for you guys to withdraw your assistance, go ahead,” sabi ni PDuterte sa harapan ng kapulisan sa Caraga Region. “We will not beg for it. We have a problem here trying to preserve our society”

Yung 8 years namin nagawa niyang tapusin 7 words.

“Mamili kayo — the crumbs of the favor of other nations, mag-asa lang tayo sa assistance nila or we make a stand that this country must survive, that this country must see to it that the next generation is protected?”tanong ni PDuterte.

Sabi din ni VPRobredo na“What we feel from them is excitement to partner with us. We have heard them say that the (Office of the Vice President) has been helpful because they have many programs but not a lot sources of information, and we are providing them the data they need.”

Office of Information for international aid agencies na pala ngayon ang Office of the Vice President.

How do you look at us? Mendicants?

Sabi ni PDuterte na he will “be the first to go hungry. I will be the first one to die of hunger.”

Dagdag ni PDuterte “Go away, bring your money somewhere else. We will survive as a nation. But we will never compromise our dignity as Filipinos.”

“I do not expect human rights, I do not expect Obama, I do not expect the EU to understand me. Do not understand me. And if you think it’s high time for you to withdraw assistance, go ahead.

Tumututlong sila dahil may pakinabang sila sa Pilipinas… as in may strings attached ang tulong nila.
“We will survive. We will survive as a nation,” sabi ni PDuterte.

“You want to oust me? You want to use the CIA? Go ahead,” sabi ni PDuterte.

“Ako naman ho, I read it from an overseas-based opinion writer about me getting ousted by a people power. Be my guest. I don’t give a shit,” sabi ni PDuterte bilang sagot sa column ni Armando Doronilla na based in Australia.

“I’ll be ousted? Fine. (If so) it’s part of my destiny. Destiny carries so many things. If I die, that’s part of my destiny. Presidents get assassinated.”

Trabaho lang habang may time.

If I am there for one year only, so be it. It’s already written in my destiny that na ma-president ka one year. If I am ousted, then it’s written in the winds that I am there and I will be ousted. And if I die, with no reason that it is really a part of your territory of your life in this world. So it does not really bother me at all,” dagdag ni PDuterte.

Dagupan to adopt Rotary Clubs’ Tusok System

DAGUPAN CITY –  Councilor Jeslito C. Seen,  committee chair on Environment and Natural Resources, proposed a resolution endorsing the adoption, practice and integration of the so-called “tusok” system project of all the Rotary Clubs of Dagupan into the plastic waste management policy in the city in compliance with Republic Act 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2003.
The proposed measure filed on October 3 shall be known as the “Practical Plastic Waste Management Project of Dagupan City”.
Seen disclosed that to enhance the ecological balance of the community through sustainable and integrated waste management there is a need for the implementation of a round the clock cleanliness; to cease and desist from irresponsible disposal of used plastic films and mixing the same with other waste materials; to contribute in the LGU’s efforts of minimizing if not eradicating unsightly plastic films littered on the streets, public and open spaces; and to minimize clogging of drainage, canals and other waterways.
The “tusok” system is a systematic practice of stitching used plastics on a rod. Under the resolution, the plastics gathered will be recycled.
“In doing so, we will be cleaning the city from this flood-causing materials and it shall be properly stored and compacted before collection. These recyclables shall be collected separately and brought to recycling centers,” said Seen.
Local waste managers will be designated in every barangay who shall teach and oversee the collection of recyclables.
The City Solid Waste Management Office will deputize and deploy environmental and sanitary officers and install billboards to ensure its strict implementation.
The Office of the City Mayor, under the proposed resolution, is mandated to create a Task Force with the participation of the Rotary Club District to be the implementing agency and perform such functions and responsibilities and shall provide lectures, training and seminars for the effective and efficient information dissemination.
