“The residents loved here, with everyone wanted to come near and hug her,” Rosendo So, president of the Eastern Pangasinan Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EPFCCCI) which is supporting Poe’s bid for president.
So said before Poe arrived, Pangasinan-based business groups led by EPFCCCI and the Association of Fertilizers, Distributors, Dealers and Outlets of Pangasinan (AFPDDOP) distributed relief goods to victims of typhoon Lando in western towns Mangatarem, Bugallon and Aguilar.
They also gave relief goods to the some villages in Urdaneta, Binalonan, Villasis and Rosales.
“We did not annouce that she was coming. But when the people saw the choppers, they came running and were happily surprized to see Grace,” So said.
