Mark to BHWs: Continue work with MediKalinga

ALAMINOS CITY- Former 5th District Rep. Mark O. Cojuangco expressed his gratitude to the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) for their role in providing basic health services to the people of Pangasinan and urged them to continue their participation to the ” MediKalinga sa Pangasinan”- a surgical and medical mission, which he launched on August 25 last yearin this city.
Cojuangco, the guest speaker during the District I 10th BHWs Congress held at Don Leopoldo Sison Auditorium last February 3, commended the BHWs for their hard work even as he promised to give honoraria for their support to his MediKalinga program.
“The BHWs in the province should be appreciated for their role in providing basic health services to the people of Pangasinan. Although your work is voluntary, you are giving yourselves to help your province mates on their health needs. You are on the front lines on medical services and that I appreciate very much your active role in my MediKalinga Program. Those who are active in scouting for patients and assisting them for the surgical mission will be receiving honoraria,” Cojuangco said.
Aside from those from this city, the Congress was participated in by the BHWs from the towns of Sual, Mabini, Burgos, Agno, Dasol, Infanta, Bani, Anda and Bolinao.

The BHW’s Congress was conducted through the leadership of the Federation of BHWs’ President Luviminita O. Fernandez
First District Rep. Jesus “Boying” Celeste was the guest of honor.
This year’s theme was:”BHWs are the Backbone Toward Achieving the Millennium Development Goal for Health.”
City Mayor Arturo Celeste welcomed Cojuangco along with the other guests to include Calasiao Mayor Mark Roy Macanlalay, a vice gubernatorial aspirant in 2016 elections, Mayors Joel Pajeta (Agno), Aldrin Cerdan (Anda), Arnold Celeste (Bolinao) and Titos Reyes ( Mabini).

    Taga binalonan po ako at im really desperate to learn in making our town longanisa. Sana may makapagturo po s akin kung paano gumawa lalo n ang rekado
