DASOL -Mayor Noel Nacar of this town belied news reports he ordered his aides to attack and beat up four supporters of rival Erick Versoza who allegedly blocked the mayor’s vehicle along a road here.
In a press conference last April 9, the mayor asserted that he was the real victim of harassment in that incident.

EDITORIAL : Braganza’s non-conventional campaign

Many are wondering with what is happening in the battle for the governor of Pangasinan.

People who are looking for man-to-man combat, guns-for-guns battles, gold-for-gold battles are disappointed that this is not happening in Pangasinan politics.

People are used to the conventional political campaign of guns, goons and gold common in local politics where barangay officlal, barangay health workers, civilian volunteers and senior citizens are called by batch and given some amount of cash in exchange for votes.

Paano mananalo si Nani Braganza, wala man lang siyang poster? This is a common question.

Conrad Estrella at BM Ranjit Shahani.
