Dagupan receives 2 classrooms from Fil-Chinese Chamber

DAGUPAN CITY – The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce (FFCCC) represented by its president, Tan Ching, and Enrique Chua, chairman of its Welfare Committee, turned over last Friday a one storey two-classroom school building constructed in Bonuan Sabangan, Elementary School, barangay Bonuan Gueset to the city government of Dagupan represented by Mayor Benjamin S. Lim.

A simple ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Lim, Ching, and other officers of the FFCCC namely: Pangasinan Fifth District Board Member Danilo Uy, Juanito Cuason, regional executive director and Regional Directors Benito Kua and Atty. Edward Chua Cham with the school’s principal, Rowena Lapaan, Division Superintendent Gloria Torres and Bonuan Gueset Punong Barangay Rico Mejia.

“We are happy to receive from the Fil-Chinese Chamber of Commerce this donation, as we share responsibility with them in the fight against illiteracy in the city.” he said, emphasizing that, “we must love our schools, knowing that our education will define the lives of future generations.”
