MAGANES: P-Noy scored media on negative reporting

President Benigno S. Aquino III blamed the media on negative news reports that came out in various tri-media outlets lately. Speaking before the members of the Philippine Press Institute (PPI) a week ago, he lamented the fact that local news reporters were focusing on the negative side of what he’s doing as chief executive of the Philippines. Local media are exercising their profession by looking from within. They are the insiders who can discern every move and action of the President. They are the ones who know the real scores and scenarios permeating the consciousness of every Juan, Maria, Pedro and Enyang. In short, they are also Filipinos who feel the brunt of economic crisis and the policies imposed by this government. (more…)
