Chiz visits Alcala, helps paint school building

ALCALA– Opposition Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero was warmly received by residents of this town as he visited San Juan Elementary School for the painting of five classrooms.

His visit also coincided with the school’s celebration of Linggo ng Wika.

The school children and parents welcomed Escudero with chants of Chiz… Chiz… Chiz.

Go, Susan, go!

susan2Whatever it is that I have in life it’s not mine alone!

Ka Blas Ople’s youngest daughter Susan Ople, in an interview over Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan last week, said that in whatever way and in whatever capacity, she feels that she has to share her skills, her knowledge and her passion for the cause of the OFWs in the country.

Susan said different groups are encouraging her to follow the footsteps of his father and that is to run for senate. But she admitted that the transition from being a member of an NGO and being an advocate, to politics was not that easy. May sariling mundo na ginagalawan ang pagiging NGO, she said.
