San Carlos dads list measures to avoid fraud

SAN CARLOS CITY –The alleged hold-up reported by a cashier of the city government to the police more than a month after it happened should serve as a wake-up call to officials of other local government units.
The Sanggunian Panglunsod headed by Vice Mayor Joselier Resuello furnished ayor Julier Resuello a list of measures the SP would undertake to prevent similar incidents and other multi-million alleged scam perpetrated by personnel of the treasurer’s office.
The SP said financial transactions a worth five thousand pesos and above should be checked and close circuit television (CCTV) should be installed at banking institutions and shopping malls in the city.

Is it true that the Armed Forces of the Philippines is being inhabited by “idiots?”
Look at what happened to the soldiers and ex-soldiers waylaid to death in a shoot-out by the PNP led by Dagupan City Chief of Police Colonel Sonny Versoza.
According to my source, these malefactors whose heads were covered by a bonnet hijacked a commercial van somewhere in Fernandez Avenue in Dagupan City .

Arenas’ P1-B projects, ‘a first in her district’

STA. BARBARA – The Department of Public Works & Highway district office based in this town said 3rd District Rep. Rachel Arenas is going to hit the historical P 1 billion mark worth of infrastructure before the end of this year since she became congresswoman after the May 14, 2007 election.
District Engr. Marietta B. Mendoza said she has already received from DPWH national office in Manila the One Hundred Million Pesos Special Allotment Release Order (SARO). With this amount, Arenas congressional allocation and insertion is already P970 million.
Mendoza said Arenas told her that before the end of the year the P1 billion feat will be completed as she keeps searching for funds in different government bodies in Manila .
