MOA inked on Sison schools computerization program

Sison — In line with her vision to provide quality education to her constituents through information technology systems, Mayor Kimi S. Cojuangco recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Ai Hu Foundation, Inc. through its Vice President for External Affairs Billy Huang.

Under the said MOA, the Foundation will train teachers who will become computer instructors while the municipal government will provide security to the facilities and personnel and provide for their food and lodging.

The training of the teachers is set on March 30 and will be completed within 18 days.

Urdaneta cite top 10 taxpayers

Urdaneta City — The Sangguniang Panlungsod here is set to give recognition to the top 10 taxpayers for their contributions in sustaining economic growth and propelling development programs of this city.

During the SP session on March 2, Councilor Onofre C. Gorospe sponsored a resolution commending the top 10 taxpayers of the city which was unanimously approved by the body.

“It’s about time to recognize the taxpayers of the city. We are all aware that without them, development programs will not be implemented and sustained,” commented Councilor Higinio Agsalud when asked about the importance of the measure.
