Pangasinan’s congressional races in 2010
THE SENATE passed the modified version of the 2009 Baselines Bill. This version, was the one “approved” by the Chinese government after they manifested their protest to the version passed by Congress.
The script is: even after the Senate version (version acceptable to China) is passed, the Chinese government will still issue a stern protest to cover for the sellout.
The Senate version excluded the bodies of water between the Kalayaan Islands and Scarborough shoals under “the regime of islands” principle, which in simpler terms, means that we are no longer establishing our claim of ownership to those mineral and oil rich properties.
The Baselines Bill is our written abandonment of claims to these resource rich islands.

Bakit opposed sila sa recommissioning ng Bataan Nuclear Power Plant?
Sabi nila “Because the BNPP was built at cost of US$ 2.3 billion (overpriced daw dahil katumbass nito ang dalawang nuclear plants! Noong panahon ni Marcos) at naging ugat ng corruption by Marcos government at ng Westinghouse Corporation.”
